Your Employees Are Using AI. You Just Don’t Know Which Kind.
Shadow AI: Real Consequences
I
design
AI products people can actually
understand
, and I
write
about the moment where
trust
between humans and machines is won!
(Or lost…)
AI products shouldn’t just
look trustworthy
.
They should make
trust visible
through the interface.
I’m a senior digital experience and product designer with 15+ years across enterprise products, publishing, and visual communication. Since 2020, I’ve designed complex customer-engagement experiences used by major European telecom organisations, turning dense requirements into clear user journeys, interfaces, and scalable design solutions.
My focus now is human–AI interaction: explainability, transparency, decision support, and meaningful human control. I use AI to accelerate exploration and production, while designing interfaces that help people understand system recommendations, question them, and remain responsible for the final decision.

Shadow AI: Real Consequences
AI decisions become dangerous when their logic is hidden from the people affected by them, explainability must be designed as a usable interface.
AI has value only when it supports a clearly understood decision; otherwise it hides poor problem framing behind a seductive shortcut.
In the age of AI overproduction, the designer’s core value shifts from making more outputs to deciding what deserves to exist.
Prompt engineering is the next essential literacy, the ability to think clearly and communicate with intention, human to machine.
The danger of AI is not machine domination but the quiet human retreat from agency, unless we design coexistence deliberately.
A multidisciplinary career across digital products, publishing, and visual communication, now focused on human – AI interaction.
